There is no closer bond among first responders than among those of the firefighting community. This allegiance to their own is indisputable. And nowhere is this more evident than in the all too often death of a firefighter in the line of duty. . . .and the coming together to honor one of their own. Such was the case recently of LA firefighter Jonathon Flagler, who died January 6 fighting a blaze in Rancho Pales Verde. Memorialized here by his peers at an Orange County Church with the full regalia of a true firefighter’s send off.
