Los Alamitos Museum Grand Reopening

After a year of renovation and reconstruction, the Los Alamitos Museum has reopened to the community, punctuating the long-awaited event with the induction of its most recent honored citizen into its Hall of Fame. Joe Escalante hails from a local Rossmoor family and has excelled in various fields including business, music (The Vandals), law, media, and entertainment. His diverse career includes roles as an attorney, network executive, media negotiator, punk rock musician, actor, bullfighter, and most recently as the manager of the iconic resurrected band Sublime. It’s complicated, but in this one-hour program, Joe finally has the opportunity to tell his story to a packed audience of Museum well-wishers and friends of the Escalante family. Among them is singer-songwriter Paul Williams, who introduces Joe during the induction ceremony.
